Vision

An inspiring and motivating media project, giving young families in Warrington real-life long learning opportunities in an area of passion for the Warrington community the Wolves Super League rugby team.

Harnessing teh families passion for media and sport, Support 2 Reporter will see them grow in skills and confidence as they connect with local media professionals through the Wolves.

They will attend Wolves match day and be trained to produce photography, audio and video match-day previews, match commentary, player and coach interviews, post-match reports and pieces on club history.

They will get advice from sports media professionals, working alongside them at matches and experiencing the real-life world of sports reporting on visits to the local media facilities.

the pieces produced will be published on the Wolves Foundation website and the match day magazine.

The reporters' skills will progress through the project. The initial group will become mentors and facilitators to the next group who join the project and they in turn will coach the next groups. This will entrench their learning and teach them responsibility, communication and teamworking - key life skills.

the base for training and production will be the Warrington Wolves Community Floor.
