About

Sportsreporter.co.uk is a new and revolutionary web site designed to reflect the governments’ values on:

Childhood obesity, Social inclusion, Community safety, Anti racism, Anti bullying, Healthy living.

In short it is about keeping children and young adults healthy, safe and out of trouble with the police and probation service.
The site is designed to enable all schools and clubs to celebrate the children’s success on a wider scale. This is a very important feature as schools and amateur clubs are no longer getting the free coverage they did years ago from the local press, it is about giving back our children the feel-good factor within schools and local communities.

We have been asked by a number of local authorities to help them in delivering very important messages to a young audience, these messages are based around the above subjects and are crucial to the future development of children, as we don’t want them growing up feeling that they are suffering in silence.

Along with the sports theme is the idea that the website can be used as part of the school curriculum, within a number of subjects such as Literacy, Numeracy, Art, ICT and Geography. We have developed a working relationship with a large number of professional sports clubs and private businesses. These are all providing Sportsreporter.co.uk with merchandise that we are using as prizes for the children. The children can win these fantastic prizes by entering one of our many monthly competitions that are based around the national curriculum. This is to motivate more children to get involved in these subjects.
We are currently working with 10 North West local authorities who are very supportive of Sportsreporter.co.uk and are actively encouraging their schools to join the website.
