About

Sportsreporter.co.uk is a new and revolutionary web site designed to mirror image the governments’ values:

Childhood obesity, Social inclusion, Community safety, Anti racism, Anti bullying, Healthy living.

In short it is about keeping children and young adults healthy, safe and out of trouble with the police and probation service.

The site is also designed so that all schools, colleges, universities, sports clubs, sports organisations and individual sports people can post their match reports and individual achievements onto our reports section of the web site, we can even put streaming video of sporting events on the site.

It has come about due to the lack of local press coverage of school sports and has now been directed along the route of giving kids the feel-good factor whilst encouraging anti-bullying and anti-social behaviour. Up to now contact has been made with 6 or 7 North West authorities which are all very supportive and basically encouraging their schools to enrol.

Along with the sports theme is the idea that the website can be used as part of the school curriculum, within subjects:

  • English - Match Reports, reviews, etc.
  • ICT - Uploading photos, videos and match reports
  • PE - Encouraging healthier more active lifestyles
  • Media - Filming, Editing, Photography, Journalism
